Who we are

This website, aegiswarehouse.com (the "Site"), is operated by Aegis Warehouse, LLC, a California limited liability company ("Aegis Warehouse," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Purchases happen on Depop

We do not sell anything directly on this Site. All purchases are made through our shop on Depop, and Depop's own privacy policy governs the information you give Depop, including payment details. We never receive your payment card information.

When you buy from us on Depop, Depop shares with us the details we need to fill your order, such as your name, Depop username, and shipping address. We use that information only to pack, ship, and support your order. We do not add you to our mailing list unless you sign up yourself.

Information we collect

Information you give us

Mailing list. If you join our mailing list, we collect your email address, the date and time you signed up, and which page of the Site you signed up from.
Emails you send us. If you contact us or apply through our Work With Us page, we receive whatever you choose to include, such as your name, city, portfolio or social media links, and your message.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, automatically processes basic technical information when you visit the Site, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, and the date and time of your visit. This is necessary to deliver the Site and to protect it from abuse and attacks. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies for this purpose.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics on this Site, and we do not build profiles of your browsing.

How we use information

To add you to our mailing list and, once we begin sending emails, to send you news about new pieces and updates from Aegis Warehouse.
To respond to your questions and review Work With Us applications.
To fill and support orders placed through Depop.
To keep the Site secure, prevent spam and abuse, and fix problems.
To comply with the law and protect our rights.

What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for them to perform those services:

Cloudflare, which hosts the Site, stores our mailing list, and protects the Site from attacks.
Google Workspace, which hosts our business email.
Depop, through which all purchases are made.
An email service provider, if and when we begin sending marketing emails. We will update this policy to name it before we start.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to respond to valid legal process, to protect the rights and safety of Aegis Warehouse or others, or as part of a sale, merger, or transfer of our business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.

Mailing list emails

We are not sending marketing emails yet. When we do, every email will identify Aegis Warehouse, include our mailing address, and include a working unsubscribe link. We will honor unsubscribe requests promptly and within 10 business days. You can also ask to be removed at any time by emailing dvind@aegiswarehouse.com.

How long we keep information

We keep your email address on our mailing list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We keep emails and Work With Us applications only as long as reasonably needed to respond, evaluate, and keep basic business records, and then delete them. Order information received through Depop is kept as long as needed for shipping, returns handled through Depop, and tax and accounting records.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limited to the people who run the business. No method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

Tell you what personal information we have about you.
Correct information that is inaccurate.
Delete your information.
Remove you from our mailing list.

To make a request, email dvind@aegiswarehouse.com. We may need to confirm that the request comes from you, for example by replying to the email address in question. We will respond within 45 days.

California residents

Depending on the size of a business, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) may not apply to it. Regardless, we extend the rights above to everyone, and we will never treat you differently for using them. As described above, we do not sell or share personal information. Under California's "Shine the Light" law, you may ask whether we have disclosed personal information to third parties for their direct marketing; we have not.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because we do not track visitors across other websites or use advertising trackers, the Site works the same whether or not that signal is turned on.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and you must be at least 13 to join our mailing list. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

The Site links to Depop, Instagram, X, and other websites we don't control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

Where information is stored

We are based in California, and our service providers may store and process information in the United States and other countries.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the business grows, for example when we begin sending emails. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. If a change significantly affects how we use information we already have, we will give notice on the Site or by email before it takes effect.
